Our SC-ALTERA SPLIT also has three 75 Ohm video wires next to one another. Thus we developed a video component cable especially for higher demands.
Video component cables are mostly manufactured with RCA connectors and intended for the connection of signal sources (DVD-players, Dolby digital systems) and monitors (video beamer, flatscreen TV or similar). The cable can be split easily. This is very practical when you want to decide on the splice length yourself. We selected the individual wire diameter so that the RCA connector has a perfect “grip“. The wires are color-coded according to common RGB-assignment:
Y = green
U [Cb/Pb] = red
V [Cr/Pr] = blue

This cable is suitable for analog and digital applications and is available premade as well.
