BINARY 234 AES/EBU MKII
These premade cables are perfectly suited to transmit the 110 Ohm AES/EBU 2 DMX512-data format. Important: The use of a standard microphone cable is not recommended due to danger of data and information losses (caused by the "skin effect"). Data losses cause a total blackout of signal transmissions for lighting or control of moving lighting units. The very reasonable price of this cable should ease the conversion from a standard microphone cable to a proper AES/EBU-cable. Our AES/EBU-cable guarantees fault-free data transfer even over longer distances of up to 100 meters. We use the AES/EBU-cable BINARY 234 AES/EBU MKII with 100 % shielding and black HICON NEUTRIK XLR-plug connectors in a full metal version. For DMX-cables with return channels we use our DMX-cable BINARY 434 DMX512 with double shielding (cross-mesh braiding + foil) and black 5-pin plug connectors made by HICON or NEUTRIK. We can also supply the BINARY 234 AES/EBU MKII with 5-pin plug connectors with 3-pin assignment.
