BINARY 234 / EBU MKII
This premade cable is excellent for the transmission of 110 Ohm AES/EBU-data formats. Important: The use of a standard microphone cable is not recommended, because of possible data and information losses (caused by the "skin effect"). For lighting a data loss will cause a complete blackout of signal transmissions, e.g. in the controls of scanner units. The very reasonable price of this cable should make it easy to convert from a standard microphone cable to a much superior AES/EBU-cable. Out AES/EBU-cable guarantees data transfer free of faults even over longer distances of up to 100 meters. We use the AES/EBU-cable BINARY 234 AES/EBU MKII with 100 % shielding and XLR-plug connectors HI-XCM3N-BLK and HI-XCF3N-BLK made by HICON, XLR-plug connectors NC3MX-BAG and NC3FX-BAG made by NEUTRIK, or the respective 5-pin version with a 3-pin assignment.
