SC-ESPRIT SILVER Series HI-CTA01 and HI-BM08
Not all that shines is made of gold. A large number of HiFi-specialists prefer speaker cables with fine, silver-plated litz, because they have better conductive values when compared to copper.
Silver cables give the very typical sound loved by many customers. They are - when stranded properly - extremely fast, precise, transparent, and ideal to upgrade all types of audio components that sound somewhat conservative.
The SC-ESPRIT SILVER und the SC-LYRIC SILVER are especially popular for the inside wiring of speakers, because oxidation is not a problem here (silver-oxide even has better conductivity than pure silver!).
The SC-ESPRIT SILVER is manufactured with a gold-plated HICON 8 mm cable shoe, which is specially reworked, crimped, and refined with HICON silver solder to prevent oxidation between the copper and the gold.
The HICON with compression is the high quality version. When the sleeve is turned in, the pin will spread and thus guarantee a better hold inside the unit socket as well as loss-free transmission.
