You can connect up our INSTA-BOXX right on location - without a soldering gun!
A triple plug-spring clip is available for each XLR-audio channel on the back (ground, minus, plus) to allow connection of a separate ground, either a drain wire or a solid wire measuring 0.05 - 2.5 mm². You only need a small screwdriver for insertion!
(For central grounding simply bridge the respective ground connections for all channels e.g. with a wire on the plug terminals - or on the two soldering point for each channel on the board).
The connection board has three soldering points per channel for additional connection of a multipin connnector.
The secret for a superfast and permanent installation solution are our special XLR-module boards with 4 or 8 channel spacing in connection with the SOMMER CABLE casing series BLACKBOXX, PLUG MAMA and THE BOXX MK III.
You can order them as a kit or preassembled and prewired, even on one or two rectangular multipins - optionally also with 1:1 transmitter technology (BLACKBOXX and THE BOXX only). The empty casings for the BLACKBOXX, PLUG MAMA and THE BOXX MK III are available under "MECHANICS & ACCESSORIES"
For installation of > 24 channels we recommend our BLACKBOXX-casing series - see photograph and for smaller systems THE BOXX MKIII. Four holes are provided on the bottom of the BLACKBOXX and the removable 19" side profiles to allow simple floor and wall installation.
