NETWORK DRUM WITH INTEGRATED SWITCH
The two versions of our new Cardinal network drum are very simple and practical options, if your want to transmit network signals to a distribution point over long distances. The integrated switch enables the connection of up to four computers to one server. An ideal solution for spontaneous conferencing or LAN-parties.
On the small version we use the robust SC-MERCATOR PUR for a transmission distance of up to 50 m. The switch is integrated in the core of the drum. Simply plug the power cable into the drum and you are ready to go.
On the larger version the power for the switch can also be supplied to the drum by our hybrid cable SC-MONOCAT POWER 21, and the power for the computers via the integrated Schuko-plug.
On both versions we use solid cable drums made by Schill and splash water-protected (IP54) Ethercon mounting sockets (incl. rubber covers) made by NEUTRIK, compatible with standard RJ45-plugs.
Other lengths are available upon request.
