The problem is well known: You have just bought a high quality, expensive conference table and now you are supposed to hide the cables as unobtrusively as possible. The SOMMER CABLE module does not only look good, it also is very functional: It is suitable for wall and ceiling installation and can be equipped with all kinds of plug connectors, such as power (accord. to VDE), computer, video, audio, and network plug connectors. A mini-XLR socket for video conferencing is also available! The modular connections are recessed inside the module and shaped like a plug rail. This rail can be easily equipped with the elements listed below. The robust, scratch- and beat-resistant casing is made of up to 2.5 mm thick aluminum profiles, equipped with 4 assembly and mounting claws. It can simply be recessed into a table or the wall, then the claws can be bent out and screwed down. A standard IEC plug power socket, commonly used in desk construction, is installed on the outside of the casing. The front plate can be opened up by pressing on the top, and a powerful magnet ensures that the casing stays closed - even if the stressed manager should pound on the table. The cable is always guided along the unit opening to ensure an ergonomic design. In exceptional cases this design can also be used as a wall or floor module, but it should be considered that the module automatically opens under strong pressure, and that it should be secured or covered accordingly. Two sizes are available: Table module "small" (TW-TCS) and table module "large" (TW-TCB). We offer the SOMMER CABLE table module in two different finishes (mat silver or charcoal grey), but special orders are available. Please mail your request to support@sommercable.com.
