The DVM-SP0801 is equipped with a high quality 8" high performance Neodynium-chassis and a 1" compression driver on a turnable 90°x 60° horn.
It is very suitable for music and language transmission in small and midsize rooms, as well as for midsize stage monitoring, and ensures optimum performance and audibility.
The use of high quality materials and a modern casing make the DVM-SP0801 easy to transport and has also proven itself for tough everyday touring.
The passive concept ensures that the DVM-SP0801 can handle any acoustic task without additional electronics. A very adequate, yet economical product.
The integrated tripod flange, the M8 mounting holes, and the two monitoring angles of 40° or 50° make the system with numerous accessories extremely flexible and support the expectations placed on a universally applicable speaker system.
As a special feature the DVM08 is equipped with an additional SPEAKON-connecting panel on the bottom, enabling uncomplicated speaker connection even
it tight places (e.g. on a stand or on stage).
As a standard the surface of the wooden casing has a high-tech plastic coating in black. A special finish in RAL-colors is available upon request (even for smaller quantities).
The front of the speaker box is protected by a robust front grid with a honeycomb structure, backed with stainless steel webbing.
SOMMER CABLE also supplies the high quality speaker boxes made by CARDINAL DVM as a touring set. It includes 4 x DVM-SP0801, a touring case (truck dimension), 4 x transport straps incl. screws, 4 x steel, as well as 4 x SUPER-CLAMP with mini TV-pegs.
The transport strap can also be ordered separately, incl. steel and super-clamp.
