KID-Broadcast's latest offspring is the microphone pre-amplifier ADVOCIS. This high-end product was developed in cooperation with Bernhard Imsande, a developer who did important work for Neumann and Sony.
ADVOCIS brings the voice to the centre of attention. It lends it space and creates the illusion of immediate presence. Intelligent switching and an extremely high over-modulation resistance guarantee clarity and brilliance even at range limits.
The character-function lets you create various sound colorations. Softness and vocal fullness can be modulated without changing the original profile of the voice.
All these features and the special design make the ADVOCIS an absolute "Must" for all studios specialising in high quality voice recording.
The one-channel microphone pre-amplifier features:
The amplifier has two completely separate signal paths. The first path is equipped with discrete bipolar-transistors, the second one with discrete field-effect transistors. An infinitely variable mixing stage allows the sound characteristics of your voice to be individually adjusted.
