DI-BOXES
are used for adaptation. The DI-box can convert high resistance, unbalanced signals coming from electrical music instrument, such as keyboard, CD-players as well as speaker outputs and adapt them for low resistance, balanced microphone input on stageboxes or mixing boards.
The passive DI-box covers more than 90 % of all standard applications. We have selected a few high quality DI- and split boxes made by Palmer just for you.
Passive DI-box with stainless steel casing. Jack input with parallel output to loop the signal through. Transformer-balance XLR-output. Input sensibility adjustable. Line and speaker signal levels can be processed.
Input impedance: 68 kOhm, output impedance 600 Ohm
Transmission ratio balancing transmitter: 10 : 1
Max. output level: +6 dBu, ground lift switch
The Media-DI-Box PLI04 is ideal for interference-free audio connection of PCs, laptops, or other consumer units to a professional sound system or studio console. The unbalanced signals are connected via 2 x 6.3 mm jack sockets or 2 x RCA sockets, or a 3.5 mm stereo jack socket and balanced onto 2 x XLR male outputs.
A mono-switch creates a balanced mono-signal on both outputs. The ground lift switch has an additional soft-ground function.
