DVI

The DVI-signal enables direct digital signal transmission from a graphic cart to an image for TFT or a beamer. And because the digital DVI-format is not compatible with the analog VGA-signal, special switches and splitters are needed to distribute and convert the signal. Long distance transmission is also possible with suitable amplifiers.
