Intelix was founded in 1986 and is a rather young company located in Middleton Wisconsin. The company produces and manufactures high quality and - as the name says - intelligent audio/video and network Baluns as well as many other multimedia distribution products.
In Germany American companies are often considered somewhat conservative and lethargic, not really interested in grooming the German market, because it is tiny compared to the US-market.
But forget your preconceptions: Intelix is different.
Intelix is a clearly structured, modern American company, founded in 1986 and managed by Steve Cohan (see photograph), a dynamic and sporty gentleman in his best years.
Intelix products are strongly adapted to the European market - they are of good workmanship, have a very ergonomic and attractive design and are known for their dependability.
The company has more than 200 distributors around the world. Intelix audio/video and network distribution products are can be found all over the USA, in well-known conference centres, hotel chains, sporting arenas, at the Olympic Games, amusement parks (right, the one with the famous duck and mouse) or in the Dow Jones building.

Intelix Baluns
"Balun" is the imaginative and simple abbreviation for balanced - unbalanced. These units convert unbalanced audio or video input signals for a simple RJ45-connection with 4 balanced twisted pair cables. Almost all are passive, i.e. no power is required. A suitable power supply is included units requiring power.
