These stackable cable drums are very reasonably priced. They are made of black 20 mm thick steel piping and are mostly used to wind up heavy multipairs (such as the MBMB). Each drum has a retractable handle and a compartment for cable end pieces and splices. The floor piping on all drums is pre-drilled for installation of all solid rubber rollers commonly available on the market.
