or better, you will be able to reach the simple speed of light with our SC-OCTOPUS-G LWL-cable. With this cable you can transmit your audio-digital signals across distances of up to 1.24 miles (at 100 mbit/s). The SC-OCTOPUS-G in PE is ideal for outdoor and ground installation, the PUR-version is windable, flame-resistant accord. to IEC332-1 and suitable for mobile application. We also have the SC-OCTOPUS-G available premade with STII-, SC-, or LC-connectors - for detailed information see “Premade Cables“. Here you can also find premade LWL-patch cables. Splice boxes are available under “Multicore and Distribution Systems“. New is the robust PUR Master Blend with a double outer jacket. OM3 and OM3+ versions are available upon request.

THE ADVANTAGES:

  • Optimum signal transmission over long distances
  • Compact, light, robust and free of metal
  • Die-electrical glass fiber protection (rodent protection)
  • Longitudal water tightness in compliance with IED 60794-1-F5 (PE version)
  • Suitable for 10 Gbit-service
  • Windable, thus suitable for indoor and outdoor transmission over long transmission distances (PUR-version)
  • Very robust double outer jacket, PMB 62.5/125 µm

THE APPLICATION:

  • High quality, fast connection for the transmission of digital signals
  • Powerful data-network installation in complex buildings (e.g. from office buildings to air port terminals)
  • Indoor and outdoor transmission over long distances
