Excelsior® BlueWater HighSpeed HDMI Cable with Ethernet and Audio Return Channel (ACR)
The EXCELSIOR® BlueWater HighSpeed HDMI flat cable in ocean blue design is perfectly suitable for all 3D and 4K transmissions. Compared to previous HDMI cables with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels it achieves resolutions of 3840 x 2160 pixels @ 30 Hz or 4096 x 2160 pixels @ 24 Hz resp. The EXCELSIOR® BlueWater HighSpeed HDMI cable is, of course, downward compatible to all previous HDMI versions and supports all current sound formats like e. g. 8 PCM, Dolby Digital, MPEG, DTS, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD, dts-HD as well as DVD-Audio and SACD. We have included an additional high-speed ethernet channel which supports the network data rate with up to 100 Mbit/s, and also an audio return channel which allows to transmit sound signals from your DVB tuner directly from the TV set to your home cinema A/V receiver.
Our EXCELSIOR® BlueWater HighSpeed HDMI cable is perfectly equipped for future generations of Blu-ray players, HD beamers, HD-plasma or HD-(O)-LED TV sets including 3D and also all monitors irrespective of their image refresh rate (100, 200, 600 Hz etc.).

Excelsior® BlueWater Starquad RCA/phono and XLR connection cables
The design of the new EXCELSIOR® BlueWater RCA/XLR connection cable is largely based on the legendary EPILOGUE cable from Sommer cable, one of the biggest-selling hi-fi, high-end cables on the European market. In a way it’s an iconic cable. The EXCELSIOR® BlueWater RCA/XLR conncetion cable is the no-compromise next generation with a tighter Starquad direction of twist, a gas-injected wire insulation and a shield density that has been adapted to the low attenuation. It has 4 inner conductors which are stranded in a “Starquad“ configuration and connected on the RCA/phono side in a coaxial manner (EBR6 version). Each sound conductor and also the screen are made of ultra pure OFC class N6 copper and were given a conductor smoothing to improve the conductivity.
Users of the EXCELSIOR® BlueWater EBR6 (RCA) and EBX7 (XLR) cable series testify a very neutral, uncolored and airy, vibrant transmission. Perfect for linking single high-grade components such as pre-/power amp, turntable, SACD/DVD-Audio player etc. at the highest level in reference studios and listening rooms. Furthermore, it is suitable for digital AES/EBU applications.
We deliver the EBR6 version with gold-plated HICON EXCELSIOR® RCA/phono connectors with a 24 carat hard gold-plating and an HD-PTFE insulation. The balanced EBX7 version is equipped with “SATIN“ EMC special XLR connectors with turned, real gold-plated contacts, a special production run by NEUTRIK exclusively for the Sommer cable EXCELSIOR®. This one has a 360° shielding contact and a capacitive cable screen-to-housing connection which offers optimum protection against HF interference.
