With a shielding factor of 125 dB, provided by a quad shielding made of 2 carbon screens, Cu mesh screen plus an aluminium-polyester foil, this antenna cable is suitable for all current and future HD broadcasting applications. In most cases it's hard to improve the picture quality by just replacing the antenna cable. Nevertheless, there are significant differences in picture quality especially with analogue signals. The use of an AWG17 solid centre conductor made of high-purity class 6 OFC copper with foam skin PE insulation and a patented carbon design makes the EXCELSIOR® classique 1 ANT 1 particularly suitable for digital, high-resolution HD SDI / HDTV media broadcasts. Gold-plated, multi-slotted HICON antenna connectors also provide extremely low surge resistance and very good contact reliability.
