As a visual eyecatcher the EXCELSIOR® classique 1 series has that braided sleeve in burgundy/black/grey which is typical of this product. Here we don’t use an ordinary braid, but one made of temperature-resistant fibers as they are used in the automotive, network, alarm and aircraft technology to slow down e. g. the aging process due to power supply heat. This has a negative effect on both the jacket material and the insulation compound.
In a technical sense this is a cable series that has been optimized for the home cinema sector, as it is used in the professional studio and broadcasting technology. Since in hi-fi applications the mechanical construction is often of minor importance, we were still able to get out the technical maximum from these cables and equip the series with extremely heavily foamed and then smoothed skin-gas-skin insulations. These new high-tech compounds make numerous complex cable designs almost redundant and are very resistant to aging.

Excelsior® classique 1 CAT.7 Network / Patch Cable
The EXCELSIOR® classique 1 CAT.7 cable transmits digital sound and image data and is exceedingly well suited for super fast 10 Gbit class F connections – pursuant to the approbations Fast Ethernet ATM 155 Prot., EN 50173 2ed, EN50288-1, EN 50288-5-1, IEC 61156-5 and ISO 11801 2ed.
We put every EXCELSIOR® classique 1 CAT.7 cable to an extensive function test and check its compliance with the relevant transmission values. The cable is supplied with a comprehensive 10 Gbit category 6a class F test report.
The EXCELSIOR® classique 1 CAT.7 does not only stand out by its dictinctive, noble braided sleeve, but also by the use of high-class all-metal RJ45-CAT.6A connectors with a special entry for large cable cross-sections as they are indispensable for 10 Gbit transmissions pursuant to IEEE 802.3. Even excessive lengths – available on request – are no problem for the EXCELSIOR® classique 1 CAT.7.

Excelsior® classique 1 HighSpeed HDMI Cable with Ethernet and Audio Return Channel (ACR)
The EXCELSIOR® classique 1 HighSpeed HDMI flat cable is perfectly suited for all future 3D and 4K transmissions. Compared to previous HDMI cables with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, the resolution was scaled up to 3840 x 2160 pixels @ 30 Hz or 4096 x 2160 pixels @ 24 Hz resp. And still the EXCELSIOR® classique 1 HighSpeed HDMI cable remains downward compatible to all previous HDMI versions and supports all current sound formats like e. g. 8 PCM, Dolby Digital, MPEG, DTS, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD, dts-HD as well as DVD-Audio and SACD. As a special feature we have integrated an additional high-speed ethernet channel which supports the network data rate with up to 100 Mbit/s. The built-in audio return channel allows to transmit sound signals from your DVB tuner directly from the TV set to your home cinema A/V receiver.
