Chris Heil
Born in 1967, Chris Heil has been part of the recording industry since 1980. Over the past 46 years, he has worked as an engineer, producer and arranger in studios around the world, where he has had the privilege of working with many of the industry’s greatest names. Starting out in his hometown of Pforzheim, near the French border, Chris went on to work at Sound Studio N in Cologne and the late Union Studios in Munich before joining Dierks Studios outside Cologne in 1988. While still working for Dieter Dierks (Scorpions, Accept), he went freelance in 1991. Since then, Chris has travelled the globe, working across Europe, the United States, the UK, Scandinavia, Japan and South America.
