Aes / ebu Binary 234 AES/EBU MKII, 2 x 0,34 mm² | XLR / XLR, NEUTRIK®
These premade cables are outstandingly suitable for transmitting the 110 Ω AES/ EBU data format. Note: Due to loss of data and information (caused by the “skin effect“), the use of a standard microphone cable is not recommended. In the lighting sector a loss of data causes a total holdup of signal transmissions, e.g. in a scanner control system. The very favorable price of this cable should make it easy to switch from a standard microphone cable to a decent AES/EBU cable. Our AES/EBU cable ensures an error-free data transfer even over longer distances of up to 100 m (328 ft.). We use the Binary 234 AES/EBU MKII AES/EBU cable with 100 % shielding and the HICON HI-X3CM-M and HI-X3CF-M ] XLR connectors or the NEUTRIK® NC3MX-BAG and NC3FX-BAG XLR connectors or the respective 5-pole versions with 3 poles connected.
