We use our highly flexible...We use our super flexible 10-pair SC-AURA DMCK AES/EBU multipair (single insulated pairs, cross-braided shielding) or the robust 12-pair TRANSFER HIGHFLEX with a PUR Master Blend jacket in combination with the – widely used in broadcasting – 30- or 39-pole male & female multipoint connectors pursuant to DIN 41622/41618 (often referred to as “Siemens multipoint”). All multipairs listed are standard equipped with a separate ground routing. Both the pin assignment and the insert alignment as we use them – see picture – are compliant with the ADT norm. For an assignment in accordance with the broadcasting standard the article number will change at the 6th position from “S“ to “W“. The splice length is always 40 cm (15.75 in.), the spliced wires are covered with a braided sleeve.
