Its surface is so soft that it practically invites you to cuddle it. But it’s even better suited as a highly flexible, portable, and cold-resistant microphone, AES/EBU, and DMX cable!
The durable, halogen-free soft HTPE jacket ensures comfortable handling, easy winding, and low-stretch winding and unwinding, making it ideal for both mobile applications and indoor and outdoor installations.
The generous 6.7 mm outer jacket is also highly water-repellent and UV-resistant, preventing unwanted tangling or slippage of the wire pairs. The SC-BINARY 225 Soft-HTPE features double shielding consisting of an aluminum-coated nonwoven fabric and a dense copper braid. We use supple Class 6N copper (OFC 99.9999%), which guarantees an incredibly high number of bending cycles and an exceptionally long service life. The Soft-HTPE jacket, developed specifically for SOMMER cable, is recyclable due to its composition.
