HICON Cable shoe, 1-pol , metal-, screw-type-male connector, gold plated contact(s), straight, yellow
Developed in 1926 by the company Hirschmann GmbH, the are considered to be the forerunners of today's today's banana plugs, which owe their name to the banana-shaped leaf spring tip. The 4 mm version is still used today for almost all HiFi loudspeaker connections in the upper quality classes.
The genuine gold-plated cable lug with screw terminal is suitable for conductor cross-sections from 6.0 mm² to 4.0 mm², with a fork width of 6.0 mm and a maximum cable diameter of 3.8 mm. The robust metal housing is red in colour.
