The 4-pin Hosiden connectors, better known as
under the name S-VHS, HICON manufactures them in good
standard quality up to the high-quality high-end
version with genuine gold-plated contacts and PTFE insulation.
These guarantee the lowest contact resistances.
The 6-pin and 8-pin Hosiden connectors are available as patch
panel jacks.
The 6-pin version is used as a connection for the
computer mouse and keyboard, the 8-pin type is used for
used for connecting RS485 interfaces,
TFTs and camcorders.

HI-DET
All HICON products labelled with the SYSBOXX logo can be mounted in the recessed D-flange HI-DET-M (metal version with M3 thread) and thus fit into our modular system box SYSBOXX (see multicore systems). The hole diameter of 12.5 mm accommodates all audio, video, fibre optic and DATA installation connectors with 1/2 ‘ external thread. We recommend our WSW16 assembly tool for this purpose.
The matching colour coding in 11 different colours enables individual identification. HICON also offers an inexpensive D-blank cover, optionally with SOMMER CABLE on the front, HICON logo without logo.The recessed universal plastic D flange offers a 12.5 mm mounting.
