USB 3 Gen 2 connection cable
The Universal Serial Bus (USB) serial interface has established itself for connecting peripheral devices to the computer.
The USB 3.2 standard offers the following transfer rates:
- USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed USB) with a transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s
- USB 3.2 Gen 2 (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps) with a transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s
- USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps) with a transfer rate of 20 Gbit/s
The Power Delivery standard was also introduced with the USB Type C connector. This can supply devices (parallel to the data connection) with a power consumption of up to 240 W. Other signal types, such as DisplayPort, can also be transmitted via the USB connection cable using the so-called alternate modes.
The HI-UAIC active-optical series impresses with a flexible, halogen-free cable and a very long transmission distance of up to 15 meters and - like the copper-based cables - masters the full USB-C potential:
- Data transmission up to 10 Gbps
- Power delivery up to 60 watts
- DisplayPort Alternate Mode with a maximum resolution of 8K60
It is therefore one of the few connection cables on the market that can transmit all three signal types simultaneously.
