Frustrated about losses?
A YUV cable is also called “colour difference“ cable and contains three separate unbalanced 75 Ω lines. It is mainly used for connections in video technology (e.g. on “progressive scan projectors“) and to connect the DVD player.
To obtain a perfect image signal a transmission distance of 20 m should not be exceeded. However, if this is inevitable, we recommend selecting the TRANSIT 3 version from the “Cable Bulkware“ section. With it transmission distances of 50 m and beyond are no longer a problem.
