When we took the stage with Distortion’s musical concept but still wanted to keep our acoustic guitars as our signature sound, there was a moment when we thought about giving up. But then Sommer cable came back with another idea, and things just kept moving forward. One phone call – and the next day, the cables were in our mailbox. Absolutely amazing!
Café del Mundo
Today we'd like to introduce you to our partner, Café del Mundo:
When Café del Mundo performed at the Tempel in Karlsruhe in 2013, concert filmmaker Thierry Miguet and Sommer cable CEO Rainer Blanck were also in the audience. That concert visit led to a partnership that, to this day, is characterized by mutual inspiration, creativity, and a passion for live music.
Our collaboration goes far beyond technology and cables. Over the past few years, we have repeatedly worked together to develop solutions whenever new musical ideas presented unique technical challenges.
Many of the solutions we’ve developed together – ranging from custom-made products to tried and tested standard products – continue to support Café del Mundo in their live performances to this day.
