“We wanted to develop a cable that proves itself in real-world working environments: slim, flexible, yet uncompromisingly robust. In combination with the HI-LKH222, it creates a system that neatly bundles multiple signal paths in a single connection. Fewer cables, less effort, more clarity – and with the reliability customers have come to expect from Sommer cable over many years.”

All good things come in threes...
and Sommer cable turns that into the SC-MONOCAT 303: three CAT.7 lines and three DMX lines combined in a single, rugged hybrid cable, consistently developed for professional live and touring applications where compact, flexible, and durable solutions are essential.
With an outer diameter of just 18 mm, the cable remains impressively slim – while also offering excellent handling characteristics. It is flexible in use, resilient in demanding touring environments and, due to its UV-resistant PVC jacket, suitable for both mobile applications and permanent installations (−20 °C to +75 °C). High-quality OFC conductors and an effective shielding ensure a stable and reliable signal transmission – even under challenging conditions.
Combined with the HI-LKH222 connector developed by HICON®, it makes a fully integrated system: up to three CAT and three audio (NF) or DMX signals can be consolidated within the form factor of a 54-pin circular connector (CIR size 32). This reduces mating cycles, saves rack space and creates clean, well-structured signal paths – for example in OB vans or touring productions.
The SC-MONOCAT 303 thus represents the typical Sommer cable standard: practical solutions designed for professional, continuous use and long-term reliability – not just for one season, but for many years.
