These panels should not just provide a decent cladding and an indestructible coating, but must also be constructed so they won’t give way or collapse when exposed to heavy strain and pressure.The front panels are made of black (PBS series...) or charcoal grey (PBA series...) powder-coated 1.2 mm or 2 mm sheet steel (depending on version). A U-profile on the top and bottom edges provides higher rigidity.The optional strain relief clamp (order number ZEPB) can be used to reduce pressure on the cables on the back. For labelling we recommend our writable magnetic strip (order number ZSPB) or number strip (order number NSPB...). The broadcast series (PBQ...) is new to our product line. Time to hit the drums...with the SOMMER CABLE cover panels in charcoal grey coated 2 mm sheet steel. As multipin die-cut for RUND-MP01 and RUND-MP02 models, we use our multifunctional punching like with THE BOXX MK II and the PLUG MAMA MK II.Owing to the pre-cut M4 threads the installation is particularly quick and easy. Matching adapter panels (e.g. to LK37, Siemens etc.) can be found a couple of pages forward under “Adapter panels THE BOXX”.In addition to the Schuko sockets the blue 3-pole CEE socket (Mennekes) can also be installed on the RUND0204 panel (using pre-cut M4 threads).The large round panels RUND16 to RUND40 can be mounted directly on the reel using the RUND-FL (6 holes with a pitch circle diameter of 27.5 cm must be drilled into the reel).
