The modular 4K UHD matrix with 16 slots for audio, video and media......from CARDINAL DVM puts an end to fixed input and output configurations - because a total of 16 slots are available for HDMI, HDBaseT, VGA or audio plug-in cards. 12 of the slots can be used for either input or output cards, while the other 4 slots accommodate output cards only. This allows configurations from 1-to-15 to 12-to-4. Each video card is equipped with an extensive EDID management as well as a HighEnd scaling chip, which always ensures the best picture quality and an optimized aspect ratio. The HDMI as well as HDBaseT input and output cards support UHD signals with up to 60 frames per second (4K60) and thereby the current encryption standard HDCP2.2. In addition, the power supply of the connected HDBaseT components is supported by means of the official PoH standard. All extender systems including wall plates from CARDINAL DVM can be operated with this. All cards also offer analog audio connections via Euroblock connectors. The HDBaseT cards are also equipped with an additional RS232 interface for direct tunneling of control data. The additional audio card DVM-HDBT-M-OAU provides a mic/line input and extensive audio mixing capabilities for two outputs. In addition, it allows audio embedding and de-embedding for the signals of all other installed cards. Switching between signals takes place seamlessly without interruption (seamless switching). The power amp managerModern power amplifiers deliver insane output power specs in the smallest possible enclosures and are more and more often equipped with digital AES3 connections. However, AES/EBU signals cannot be split as easily as analog audio signals – a simple parallel wiring of several terminals is not covered by the AES3 standard and will mostly cause problems. But due to their compact enclosure size, modern power amplifiers often have no AES3 outputs for slaving the signal through to other devices. The DVM-194-AES-NS solves just this issue! The two front AES/EBU inputs are split onto three electrically fully isolated and buffered outputs, to save you from worries and losses. The additional built-in 5-port network hub also makes the network control for the amplifiers in the amprack a cakewalk. Gone are the times when you still had to install an extra hub in your amprack and wire it error-prone “on the fly”!
