The classic...among the multipins is the EDAC-516 connector. This can still be seen today, mainly int the studio sector. The plug consists of a contact strip with a screw or a nut as counterpart. The coolest thing is that you need only one contact version/size, which must be inserted horizontally or vertically into the socket of the contact strips.The contacts are available either as solder or crimp versions. The gold-plated connection is made by interlocking the horizontal and vertical contact forks.There are 4 types of connectors:A: Contact strip male with screw – all contacts inserted horizontallyB: Contact strip male with nut – all contacts inserted horizontallyC: Contact strip female with screw – all contacts inserted verticallyD: Contact strip female with nut – all contacts inserted verticallyHere only A and D or B and C resp. will fit together We deliver the most widely used 56-pole version from stock.
